David Wright scheduled for rehab appearance with St. Lucie
Wright has been sidelined since May 15th with a stress fracture in his lower back. The five-time National League All-Star is a career .302 hitter. He is one of only three players to hit 30 home runs and steal 30 bases in the same season as a Met. Wright holds the Mets all-time record for career doubles and is in the top-5 in 13 different offensive categories including hits, home runs, RBI and runs scored. This is only the second DL stint of Wright's 8-year Major League career.
