Dash Announce Friday's T.V. Commentator
Cummings is in his third year with the White Sox organization, but first in his current role. As a Minor League Coaching Assistant, he provides video analysis work and helps the White Sox rehab program that is based out of Winston-Salem. He was drafted in the 28th round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of the University of California - Santa Barbara. He spent two years as a player in the White Sox system, combining to hit .256 with three home runs and 34 RBI in three stops. Cummings reported to Rookie Great Falls after getting drafted and hit .264 with two home runs and 26 RBI in 46 games. He split last season between Great Falls and Advanced Rookie Bristol
During his senior season at UCSB, Cummings hit .264 with seven home runs and 38 RBI. He initially went to school at Illinois Wesleyan where he was named 2006 Second Team All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, and earned "Top Newcomer" billing for Illinois Wesleyan.
