Raptors Win 11th Straight Home Game
Trailing 3-0 after the Voyagers scored three unearned runs in the third, the Raptors took the lead with four runs in the fourth. Joc Pederson walked and stole second to lead off the inning. Noel Cuevas then doubled home Pederson with a hit into the left-field corner. After a wild pitch moved Cuevas to third, Scott Schebler drove him home with a single up the middle. O'Koyea Dickson then hit a towering, two-run homer to right, his fourth of the year, giving the Raptors a 4-3 lead.
The Voyagers took the lead back with a couple of homers. Joe De Pinto tied the game with a solo homer to left, his third of the season, in the top of the fifth. In the sixth, Great Falls took a lead 5-4 when Mark Haddow hit an inside-the-park home run off the wall in right-center.
The Raptors tied the game again in the sixth. Pratt Maynard walked to start the inning and moved to second on a wild pitch. Two batters later, Maynard moved to third on an infield single by Jeff Hunt. Then, two batters later, Alexis Aguilar singled home Maynard with a hit to center, tying the game 5-5
The Raptors took the lead in the seventh. Cuevas hit his second double of the night to start the inning. Schebler then reached on an infield single to put runners on the corners. Dickson then grounded into a double play, plating Cuevas and giving the Raptors a 6-5 lead.
The Raptors added an insurance run when Charlie Mirabal hit a solo homer to left in the eighth, his third of the season.
Joel Lima earned his first win of the season. Out of the bullpen, the right-hander pitched two innings and gave up one run on two hits, striking out two.
Matt Shelton received his first save by pitching the last two innings and allowing just one hit.
The Raptors and Voyagers continue their four-game series Friday. David Cone will pitch for Ogden against Great Falls' Scott Snodgress. Game starts at 7:00 and can be heard on 1280 The Zone.
