Josh Armond Wins $10,000 in 'Riders Stakes

FRISCO, TX - The RoughRiders are pleased to announce that Josh Armond, 30, of Frisco won the $10,000 grand prize in the 2011 'Riders Stakes presented by Sport Clips and Verizon Wireless.

For more than a month, RoughRiders fans were encouraged to register for the contest at any participating Sport Clips or Verizon locations around DFW.

Armond signed up at the Frisco Sport Clips location at 8300 Gaylord Parkway in Frisco and was randomly selected from hundreds of eligible entries after the contest ended last week.

Armond was presented with the $10,000 prize during the RoughRiders game Friday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark against the Corpus Christi Hooks.
