PBS Kids' Characters Return for Timber Rattlers Games in 2017
GRAND CHUTE, WI - They had so much fun meeting Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fans last season that they are returning for 2017. Characters from six different PBS Kids' shows will be back for nine games at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium this season.
All of the characters will be available to meet with their fans before and during each of the scheduled games for photos or just to say, "Hello".
- Caillou: The Prince of Imagination will be at the games on April 22 and April 23. He will be making his first two appearances in the Fox Cities at these games.
- Buddy from Dinosaur Train: Everyone's favorite young Tyrannosaurus returns to the ballpark on June 22. This is one of the scheduled Peanut-Free Nights at the stadium. If your youngster has a peanut allergy and loves dinosaurs, this is the game for them.
- Bob the Builder: The Rattlers and AZCO INC. are hosting Construction Day on June 27. It was only natural to bring Bob the Builder in for the day.
- Daniel Tiger: The title character from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is back to see everyone for two days - July 9 and July 10.
- Curious George: The Man in the Yellow Hat is going to let George see two Timber Rattlers games and you are welcome to join him on August 5 and August 6.
- Bob the Builder: Make plans for Boldt Day on August 19 as The Boldt Company brings Bob back to the stadium.
The Timber Rattlers are currently on the road. They will return home to begin a seven-game homestand on Thursday, April 20 with a game against the Peoria Chiefs.
