20th Season Wraps Up With Great Promotions
The Burlington Indians will conclude their 20th Anniversary home schedule with a six-game homestand beginning Monday, August 22nd. This homestand will feature a T-Shirt Giveaway, Thirsty Thursday, Team Photo Giveaway and more!
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Indians will take on the Johnson City Cardinals, with each game scheduled for a 7 PM first pitch. Monday is Church Bulletin Night, with $1 admission with a church bulletin. Tuesday is "Two-for-Tuesday," just ask for the Two-For-One special on tickets at the box office.
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the Indians will do battle with the Greeneville Astros, featuring third baseman Kobe Clemens, the son of Astros star pitcher Roger Clemens. Roger's travel plans are always subject to change, but Roger has visited his son on the road a number of times this season!
Thursday is Elon Night, and it's also Thirsty Thursday, with $1 Budweiser and Cheerwine products all night. Friday is Fan Appreciation Night, with 2005 Indians Team Photos, sponsored by the Burlington Manufacturer's Outlet Center, and tons of other great prizes, including free car washes, restaurant meals, housewares, and more. Friday is ACC Night, and the Indians will also wear special Tie-Dyed Jerseys on Friday, courtesy of OT Sports of Graham. These jerseys are wild, you won't want to miss this! And, selected jerseys will be auctioned off after the game!
Saturday is the Indians final home game of the season. The first 250 paid admissions will get an Indians T-shirt courtesy of LabCorp, with a portion of ticket proceeds to benefit Loaves & Fishes. Saturday is also Alamance-Burlington Schools Night. Ask at your school for your complimentary youth tickets! Also, the Health and Wellness Trust Fund will be sponsoring the final Smoke Free Night at the Ballpark on Saturday.
The Indians will host a Red Cross Blood Drive on Saturday, beginning at 3 PM and running through game time. Call 222-0223 to register. All blood donors will receive FREE ADMISSION and a FREE INDIANS T-SHIRT! Fans can also take 3 whacks at our "Smash Car" for $3, with all proceeds to benefit Red Cross!
