Love and Baseball come together for a wedding
The ceremony will take place on the field at Waterfront Park as part of the pregame festivities prior to the Thunder vs. Binghamton Mets game set to begin at 7:05. Barry Vogel, the uncle of the groom, will perform the ceremony. Following the service, the couple will throw out the ceremonial first pitch as their first act together as husband and wife.
"I'm glad we get to be a part of such a special event for two big Thunder and Yankee fans," said Thunder General Manager Rick Brenner. "A pregame wedding on a baseball diamond is a great example of the fun spirit of Minor League Baseball and we are thrilled they chose to spend this day with us."
The wedding party will consist of Adam Gorner as Best Man, Michael Blayne and Adam Rosh as Groomsmen, Jennifer Chin as Maid of Honor, Deborah Doucette and Dale Tavarez as Bridesmaids, Kaitlyn Blair as the Junior Bridesmaid, Serena O'Hara and Olivia Tavarez as Flower Girls and Alexander Tavarez and Anthony D'Amico as the Ring Bearers. The parents of the bride are Georgianna and Vincent Paganotti. The parents of the groom are Ann Gorner and Justin Gorner.
The couple will host their wedding reception in the Thunder's Yankee Club and Conference Center, a 100 person conference/party space on the Luxury Suite Level at Waterfront Park.
