Royals' Graham Promoted to Single-A

Burlington, NC- Burlington pitcher Tyler Graham is headed to the Wilmington Blue Rocks, the High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The native of Shingle Springs California is 2-1 with a 3.09 ERA in 14 games. Graham was selected in the 22nd round of the 2010 MLB Draft, and spent last season with the Idaho Falls Chuckars.

The righty is the second B-Royal promoted to Wilmington, joining Alex Rivers. Five players have been promoted from Burlington, and Graham is the second to be moved straight to the Blue Rocks.

The Wilmington Blue Rocks are 17-29 in the second half of the season, and taking on the Lynchburg Hillcats in a four game series this weekend.
