Playoff Ticket Packages On Sale Now

Storm Chasers 4.0 games up in division with 21 games remaining
August 16, 2011
OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers are poised to make a run to the postseason in the first year at Werner Park, and ticket packages are now on sale to the general public. Packages start at just $47 for all playoff games, with individual games only available once the team clinches a postseason berth.

Taking into account games played through August 15, Omaha leads Memphis by 4.0 games and Nashville by 5.5 games in the American Conference Northern Division with 21 contests remaining. By virtue of their 9-6 head-to-head record against Memphis and 9-3 mark against Nashville, the Storm Chasers would win any two-team tie-breakers.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer a package for fans to purchase Triple-A baseball playoff tickets," said Martie Cordaro, Storm Chasers Vice President and General Manager. "Since this would be the first time Omaha's Triple-A team would compete in the playoffs since 1999, we hope that our fans will join us to support the drive for a PCL championship."

The $47 figure is derived from the regular Storm Chasers box seat ticket price and does not include any increases for the playoffs. Games would be priced at $10-10-9-9-9 if the Chasers advance to play the maximum allotment of five games. Any games the Storm Chasers do not play would be credited back to the ticket holder's account, to be applied toward any 2012 ticket package. Club seat pricing is $79.50 and Field Box seat pricing is $59.50 for the entire postseason.

Chasers' full-season ticket holders automatically get playoff tickets as part of their 2011 ticket purchase, complimentary of the organization. They will be seated in the same seats they have been in for the duration of the season. Half-season and mini-plan holders will get free playoff tickets if they upgrade for the 2012 season and pay just $25 for playoff tickets if they renew for the 2012 season.

Postseason play at Werner Park would begin Friday, September 9 at 7:05 p.m. with Game 3 of the best-of-5 American Conference Championship Series. "If necessary" games would be played Saturday, September 10 at 1:05 p.m. and Sunday, September 11 at 2:05 p.m.

If the Chasers make the PCL Championship Series, they would host Game 1 on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:05 p.m. and Game 2 on Wednesday, September 14 at 7:05 p.m.

Individual tickets will go on sale as soon as the Storm Chasers clinch and/or additional games in each series become necessary. Ticket pricing for individual games will also be the same as the regular season.
