ONEOK Field To Host Greenwood Music Festival

October 1 Concert To Feature KEM and The Whispers
August 17, 2011
The Greenwood Music Festival is returning to Tulsa this fall and will take place at a new venue. The 2011 Festival will be held at ONEOK Field, home of the Tulsa Drillers, on Saturday, October 1.

This year's show will feature KEM, The Whispers, Mint Condition and Kelly Price. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM.

JDEG On-Stage, the concert promoter, has also been announced that this live music and entertainment event will be used as a vehicle to help kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the state of Oklahoma and assist in the ongoing efforts to promote breast cancer awareness and research within our local communities.

In addition, the Tulsa Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has been designated as the beneficiary recipient for this event. In doing so, $1 of every ticket sold will be donated directly to Komen Tulsa. The check presentation will take place on the evening of the event.

"The Drillers organization is excited about hosting the Greenwood Music Festival on October 1," said General Manager Mike Melega. "This will be ONEOK Field's first public concert, and we are hopeful that it will be the first of many in the coming years."

Tickets are currently on sale at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office at 201 N. Elgin Avenue or online at ONEOKFieldEvents.com. Prices start at $35. Fans purchasing tickets before September 1 will be admitted into the stadium at 5:30PM, one-half hour earlier than those who purchase after September 1.
