Damian Miller appearance at final Brewers Sunday of season

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers welcome former Milwaukee Brewers catcher Damian Miller to Time Warner Cable Field on Sunday, August 28. The Wisconsin native will throw out a first pitch and be available for autographs when the Rattlers host the Cedar Rapids Kernels at 1:05pm.

Miller, a Brewer from 2005 to 2007, played eleven seasons in the Major Leagues. He was a member of the World Series Champion Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001 and also played with the Minnesota Twins, the Chicago Cubs, and the Oakland Athletics during a career that spanned 989 games. Miller was an All-Star for the National League in 2002.

August 28 is also the final Brewers Sunday of the season at Time Warner Cable Field. Timber Rattlers players and coaches will wear the jerseys based on the uniforms worn by the 1975 Milwaukee Brewers for the final time. After the game, there will be a live postgame auction and fans may bid on the jerseys.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

That Sunday features catch on the field before the game from noon until 12:30pm and a postgame autograph session with the players.
