Brett Favre Celebrity Softball Game to be held June 17th

The Eighth Annual Brett Favre Celebrity Softball Game has been scheduled for Sunday, June 17, 2007 .  The game will be held at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium, the home of the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, in Appleton beginning at 12:00 pm .  For the eighth consecutive year, Bergstrom Automotive, the largest dealer group in Wisconsin , will serve as presenting sponsor of the event. 

The event will feature Brett Favre and members of the Green Bay Packers.  The annual game traditionally matches the Packers offense against the Packers defense.  All proceeds will benefit the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation, whose mission is to provide aid to disadvantaged or disabled children residing in Wisconsin and Mississippi .

The Brett Favre Fourward Foundation distributed approximately $200,000 to Wisconsin charities from last year's softball game.  The Brett Favre Fourward Foundation was established in 1996 and is a 501(c)3 organization in which all net proceeds raised from each event benefits charities. More than $3 million has been donated between Wisconsin and Mississippi the past eleven years.

A special "Sundays at the Park" ticket package is on sale.  The package includes three Sunday Timber Rattlers games, as well as the Favre Softball Game.  The package costs $55.50 for a box seat, $41.00 for a reserved seat.
