Barbecue and baseball in Pearl

PEARL, Miss. -- The Mississippi Braves, on behalf of Overtime Sports, announce that the Jackson State Tigers will take on the Alcorn State Braves at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Trustmark Park. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.

$10 gets fans entrance into the game and a barbecue plate. Children four and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Trustmark Park ticket office, the Mississippi Coliseum, Be-Bop Records in Jackson and Vicksburg, all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.mississippibraves.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 601-932-8788. Fans can also call Ticketmaster to place their orders at 601-355-5252. There will be a $5 fee for all phone orders through the Braves ticket office.

In addition to the game, the band "Sounds of Dynamite" and the Golden Girls will perform before and during the game.
