Davis made two starts against the Brevard County Manatees this week and was thoroughly dominating in each. He did not factor into the decision on Tuesday, despite allowing just one run over seven innings while striking out eight. Five days later he picked up his first win over five starts, hurling seven shutout frames while striking out a season-high nine batters.
