Baseball Fever announces bus trips
The first trip is June 16th to Trenton to see the Trenton Thunder, the AA affiliate of the Yankees, play the Reading Phillies, the AA affiliate of the Phillies.
The bus will leave PNC Field at 2:30 PM for a 7:00 PM game. Fireworks follow the game. The cost is $35 which includes the bus trip and your reserved ticket. For reservations please call Dave Meyer at 347-2090. Full payment must be made by June 1st. Checks are payable to Red Barons Baseball Fever (until the new charter is in place).
These trips are first come, first served.
The second trip is August 10-12 to Frontier Field in Rochester to see the Red Wings play the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees for two games on the 10th & 11th and then on Sunday the bus heads to Buffalo's Dunn Tire Park to see the Bisons play the Yankees.
On August 10th at 6:30 AM, the bus leaves PNC Field and goes to Corning, New York for a tour of Corning Glass Works. If you've never seen this before it's amazing to see how glass is made. The bus will then head up to Rochester. Fans will stay at the Crowne Plaza which is the same hotel the team stays at. There will be a picnic dinner at the field and see the Yankees play the Red Wings, the AAA affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. There will be fireworks after the game.
On the morning of the 11th, after breakfast, the bus will take the group to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side for the day. Please bring a passport. The bus returns to Rochester for the evening game which features The Famous Chicken.
On Sunday, the group will head to Buffalo for a picnic lunch at the stadium followed by the afternoon game versus the Bisons the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and will leave for home immediately after the game.
The price for this trip is $ 250.00 person based on double occupancy. A single is $ 340.00, A triple is $ 220.00 and a quad is $ 205.00. Deposit is $ 50. Balance due by July 5th. Again first come first served.
There are two more trips later in the year to New York on September 2nd to see the Yankees and September 22nd and 23rd to Washington,DC to see the Phillies and Nationals. More details will follow.
There are only 50 tickets available for each trip so get your deposits in early to make sure you get a seat. No seat will be held without a deposit.
