Mets set another attendance record

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- For the third straight year, the St. Lucie Mets set a new single-season attendance record with a crowd of 1,847, bringing their season total 87,116, with two games remaining.

The Mets' previous single-season attendance record was 85,991.

The Mets are averaging 1,428 fans per game. In the 18-year history of the St. Lucie Mets, they have drawn 1,250,377 fans.
