DiFrancesco Named FSL Trainer of the Year

The Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) has named Scott DiFrancesco, of the Tampa Yankees, as selected by his peers, as the 2011 Florida State League Athletic Trainer of the Year.  Scott, along with 17 other league winners, will be considered for Minor League Athletic Trainer of the Year, which will be announced the Winter Meetings.

 

Scott was born in Hannover, N.H. on October 8, 1984, and currently resides in Thetford, VT.  This was his first season as Tampa's Trainer after previously serving in the same role with Class A Charleston the previous three seasons.  He completed an internship with Mark Littlefield at the Yankees Tampa Complex during the 2006 Gulf Coast League Season.  Scott graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.
