John Van Benschoten, Indianapolis

Van Benschoten picked up a win in both of his starts this week, hurling seven shutout innings against Syracuse on Monday before surrendering a run over seven frames against Ottawa five days later. The right-hander has earned a win in his last three starts after failing to do so over his first four, and his 1.82 ERA is the league's third best.

Pacific Coast League
Jason Windsor, Sacramento
2-0, 2.13 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.2 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 11 SO
After notching a Minor League-leading 17 victories in 2006, Windsor failed to pick up a win over his first five starts this season. The 24-year-old has won his past three starts, however, including two this week. He faced Tuscon on Monday and hurled seven shutout innings. He followed that up on Saturday by surrendering three runs over seven frames against Iowa.

Eastern League
Luis Munoz, Altoona
2-0, 0.73 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.1 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 17 SO
Munoz is 5-0 over six starts this season, and two of those victories came this week. He struck out a season-high 10 batters over seven shutout innings against Erie on Monday and was touched for a run over 5 1/3 innings against Harrisburg on Sunday. The 25-year-old is tied for the league lead in victories, while his 2.03 ERA ranks seventh.

Southern League
James Avery, Chattanooga
2-0, 2.08 ERA, 2 G, 2GS, 0 CG, O SHO, 13 IP, 11 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 7 SO
Avery's two victories this week gave him five on the season, tying him with Tennessee's Mark Holliman for the league lead in that category. The 22-year-old faced Carolina on Tuesday and allowed a run on five hits over six innings as the Lookouts held on for a 6-5 win. Avery hurled a season-high seven innings against the Smokies on Sunday, surrendering two runs on six hits.

Texas League
Doug Mathis, Frisco

Mathis started the season with Triple-A Oklahoma, where he struggled mightily. Since his demotion to Frisco, he's been lights-out. The 23-year-old is 3-1 with a 1.40 ERA over four starts with Frisco, and his most recent start was his best yet. Facing Corpus Christi on Wednesday, he allowed just one hit over seven shutout innings as the RoughRiders eked out a 2-1 victory.

California League
Marlon Arias, Inland Empire

Arias entered Wednesday's start against Bakersfield with a 1-1 record and 6.18 ERA over six appearances, numbers that were hardly intimidating. But the 22-year-old southpaw proceeded to toss the fourth no-hitter in Inland Empire history, striking out 10 and walking two as the 66ers cruised to a 2-0 victory. Arias' gem puts him in the company of Mike Hampton and Ted Lilly, who have also pitched no-hitters for Inland Empire.

Carolina League
Brian Bogusevic, Salem
2-0, 0.64 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 14.0 IP, 8 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 SO
Bogusevic picked up back-to-back victories for the first time this season, defeating Winston-Salem on Monday and Wilmington on Saturday. The southpaw allowed just one hit over seven innings in the former and notched a seven-inning complete game in the latter. He is now 3-3 with a 3.35 ERA over seven starts this season.

Florida State League
Joba Chamberlain, Tampa
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 9.0 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 11 SO
Chamberlain made the first two starts of his professional career this week, after starting the season on the disabled list due to a hamstring injury. He allowed an unearned run on three hits over four innings against Daytona on Monday, and followed that up with five hitless innings against St. Lucie on Saturday. Chamberlain left the game with the no-hit bid intact, but reliever Jose Castro surrendered a single with two outs in the sixth.

Midwest League
P.J. Walters, Quad Cities
2-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 G, 1 GS, 9.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 SO
Walters allowed just one hit over four scoreless relief innings against Lansing on Tuesday and was credited with the win as the Swing pulled out a 7-4 victory. He started against Burlington four days later and won again, scattering four hits over five shutout frames. Walters is now 3-1 with a save over nine appearances this season, six of which were starts.

South Atlantic League
Justin Jones, Hagerstown

Jones made his first two starts of the season this week and was impressive in each. The 22-year-old southpaw yielded just three hits in both outings, hurling six shutout innings against West Virginia on Tuesday and 6 2/3 scoreless frames against Delmarva on Sunday. He earned the win in both starts.
