Vermont-Auburn Rained Out Wednesday

Game 2 of Semifinal Series Now Scheduled For Thursday

AUBURN, NY --- Game two of the best-of-three New York-Penn League semifinal series between the Vermont Lake Monsters and Auburn Doubledays has been postponed due to rain at Falcon Park.

Game two of the series will now take place on Thursday at 7:05 pm at Falcon Park. Brent Powers is still scheduled to start game two for the Lake Monsters.

A win for the Lake Monsters on Thursday would advance Vermont to the NY-Penn League Championship series against either the Staten Island Yankees or Brooklyn Cyclones. A win by the Doubledays would force a deciding game three of the series on Friday night in Auburn.
