Playoffs in Baseballtown Begin With Harley Night Tonight

(Reading, PA) – The R-Phils will kick-off game three of the Eastern League Eastern Division championship series with a special postseason Harley Night on Saturday. VIST Financial Plaza are set to open at 5:00 p.m. for all fans and the first 2,500 adults 18 and over will receive an R-Phils Harley Game Cap, presented by Classic Harley-Davidson. The R-Phils and Fisher Cats are tied 1-1 in the best of five series.

All fans can enjoy a pre-game concert with Bobby Newton and Company on the Weston Center Winning Smiles Stage (5:00 p.m.– 6:30 p.m.), and all fans 21 and over can enjoy Happy Hour, with $1 off all beers, thanks to Miller Lite (5:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m.).

Reading Phillies players will wear special Harley Night jerseys, and Saturday’s Harley Night celebration will also consist of a special MDA Harley Night jersey auction and raffle, as fans will have the chance to own the game-worn Harley jerseys. Also, as part of the Harley Night festivities, there will also be a parade of Harleys during the pre-game.

Fans holding“Game A” playoff tickets can use those for Saturday’s game, while fans with “Game B” playoff tickets can now use those tickets to attend Sunday’s 6:05 p.m. game. With Reading winning game two on Friday, the R-Phils are guaranteed to host game three (Saturday) and game four (Sunday).

Please note the date and time change for “Game B", which is now on Sunday at 6:05 p.m.

All fans that have unused tickets for the Saturday, August 27 game – or Sunday, August 28, and were unable to attend the doubleheader on Saturday, August 27, can exchange those tickets for any 2011 Reading Phillies playoff game. All fans with unused tickets from any other 2011 game, can use those tickets to get $2 off 2011 playoff tickets.

Also, all Redner’s R-Phils Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to all 2011 playoff games. Plus, if you are a teacher, the R-Phils want to see you during the playoffs. All teachers get a FREE ticket to all playoff games by showing their school ID at the ticket window.
