Bees set to welcome 7,000,000th fan

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake Bees are set to welcome the franchise's seven millionth fan to Franklin Covey Field this weekend during the team's four-game home stand against the Fresno Grizzlies. Salt Lake has entertained an average of 7,683 fans per game each season since 1994.

The Bees are currently 13,831 fans shy of reaching the record mark. Welcomed at the gate by General Manager Marc Amicone and team mascot Bumble, the seven millionth fan will receive a pair of Bees season tickets and will also throw out the first pitch prior to the game.

The Bees' four-game home series against the Fresno Grizzlies this weekend will begin with a 6:35 p.m. start on Friday, May 25 with fireworks presented by LoanZone scheduled after the game. Salt Lake will continue the series on Saturday, May 26 at 2:05 p.m. and then play on Sunday, May 27 at 2:05 p.m. The Bees will complete the series on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28 at 2:05 p.m. Bees' player cards, presented by The Truth, will be given away prior to the game on Saturday.
