August 31: Fan Appreciation Night includes giveaways, XPOGO Stunt Team, fireworks & more!
The Bisons Fan Appreciation Night tradition returns as the Herd says goodbye to the 2017 season with one last party downtown, Thursday, August 31 against the Pawtucket Red Sox (7:05 p.m.), presented by Aesthetic Associates.
Giveaways EVERY half inning. A special pregame Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour. The XPOGO Stunt Team. A 2018 Schedule Poster Giveaway. Postgame Fireworks. AND a special Retirement Autograph Session with Celery!...Now that's a party!!!
This night, which has drawn nearly a half a million fans since 1998, is the Bisons way to say 'Thank You' to all their great fans for another terrific season at Coca-Cola Field. For some, it's one last time to head out to the ballpark and enjoy another fantastic night of great baseball and family entertainment. For others, who have been meaning to get to Coca-Cola Field all summer long, you have one more chance to fulfill that summer to-do list before the seasons change!
This year's edition of Fan Appreciation Night will begin when ballpark gates open at 6:00 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2018 Schedule Poster Giveaway, so you start looking forward to the next season of Bisons Baseball. From there, head to the Consumer's Craft Corner for a special Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour featuring 14 oz. craft beers for only $3.00 until 7:00 p.m.
Then from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Celery will hold a special Retirement Autograph Session for fans to meet and get a signature from everyone's favorite WCC character. Pregame ceremonies on the field also start at 6:40 p.m. as the Bisons announce their 2017 player awards including the club's Most Valuable Player.
Of course, no Fan Appreciation Night would be completed without Great Giveaways Every Half Inning. Could be a lucky seat, could be a lucky row. All we know, is you have to be at the ballpark to win as we empty out our prize closet for the season.
New to this night, the Bisons will also welcome back the XPOGO Stunt Team, which will perform as the Bisons take on the PawSox.
Finally, the night ends with one of the biggest Fireworks Show of the Season… How big? It's basically twice the size of our usual shows!
