Stodolka's slam carries Wranglers
Stodolka's lone hit was his fourth homer in the sixth inning. Joseph connected for his third blast with two aboard in the third and Lubanski clubbed his seventh homer in the fourth as the Wranglers (22-29) built a 7-1 lead.
Adam Donachie reached three straight times and Jake Blalock added two hits in his Wranglers' debut as Wichita snapped a seven-game losing streak.
Kansas City reliever Leo Nunez, who is working his way back from a fractured wrist suffered in Spring Training, got the start for the Wranglers and went one inning, fanning one, in his season debut.
Luke Hochevar (3-5) relieved Nunez and tossed 6 2/3 innings to earn the win. The 23-year-old right-hander struck out eight and allowed four runs -- one earned -- on five hits without walking a batter. Jarrod Plummer worked around two hits in 1 1/3 innings to earn his fifth save.
Jim Fasano went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, his fifth, and German Duran ripped his 11th blast of the year for the RoughRiders (31-18).
Frisco's Eric Hurley (6-1) suffered his first loss in 10 starts this year, allowing seven runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five in five innings. His ERA rose from 1.83 to 2.61. He hadn't allowed more than three earned runs in any of his previous nine starts. --Shane Figueroa/MLB.com
