Gunderson Cleaners & Rattlers to hold clothing drive June 7th
The Wisconsin
Timber Rattlers and Gunderson Cleaners are teaming up for a clothing drive to
benefit the Community Clothes Closet.
The
Community Clothes Closet is a non-profit organization that provides clothing to
people in need in Northeastern Wisconsin. Donations of clothing (anything you would wear),
blankets, sheets, pillows, towels, stuffed animals, children's books and small
knick knacks are always welcomed. And of course, any financial donations are
appreciated.
Last years clothing drive was a big success. Gunderson Cleaners general manager Ryan Hawkins estimated approximately 550 pieces of clothing were collected. With your help, this years clothing drive will be even better.
The clothing drive will take place at the Timber Rattlers game on Saturday, June 7th. Fans who bring in gently used clothing items to donate will receive a free hot dog. (Limit one hot dog per person, please). The game against the Quad Cities River Bandits will also feature a post game fireworks show.
