Francisco Keys Phillies Game 3 Win

Philadelphia Phillies' outfielder and former Buffalo Bisons BEN FRANCISCO hit a three-run pinch-hit home run to lift the Phillies to a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 3 of their National League Divisional Series.

Francisco's home run in the seventh inning snapped a scoreless tie between the Phillies and the Cardinals. Francisco pinch hit for Philadelphia starter Cole Hamels with two men on base and two outs and drove a Jaime Garcia pitch into the bullpens in left field.

Francisco played 257 games with the Bisons from 2005-2008 and averaged .292 (292-1,000) with 30 home runs and 119RBI in Buffalo. He hit 17 home runs with the Herd in 2006 and led the International League with a .318 average in 2007. Francisco was named to the IL's post season All-Star Team after the 2007 campaign.
