Colonel slams Wranglers in 12th

Christian Colonel's grand slam capped a five-run 12th inning as visiting Tulsa outlasted Wichita, 9-4, on Saturday night.

Jordan Czarniecki snapped a 4-4 tie with an RBI single off Arthur Santos (1-2) before Colonel connected for his fifth homer of the year to cap the scoring.

Jonathan Herrera went 3-for-6 with a homer, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Drillers (31-29), who squandered a two-run lead in the ninth before ending a two-game skid.

Jentry Beckstead (1-1) picked up the win after allowing a hit and two walks in two scoreless innings.
