Danny Hultzen, this year's second overall pick by Seattle, allowed one baserunner over four hitless innings, but didn't factor into the decision in Peoria's win over Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon. The 21-year-old left-hander retired the first 11 batters he faced before issuing an eight-pitch walk to A's No. 2 prospect Michael Choice in the fourth frame. Top Twins prospect Aaron Hicks smacked a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh, then doubled and scored the go-ahead run in the ninth for Mesa. Tyler Saladino (White Sox) roped a two-RBI single to right field to break the deadlock. Nationals prospect Derek Norris went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs in the losing effort.
