Holiday store once again located near Santa's Village across from Orange Julius
November 14, 2011
CURVE, Pa. - The Altoona Curve Holiday Store inside Logan Valley Mall opens this Friday, November 18th.  As in 2010, the Curve Holiday Store will be located just down the aisle from Santa's Village across from Orange Julius on the lower level.

The store will be stocked with the latest Curve merchandise from Nike, Antigua, New Era, '47 Brand, Ravine Ink & Thread and others when the store opens on Friday.  From t-shirts and the one-of-a-kind Curve on-field rally cap to sweatshirts and children's apparel, the Curve Holiday Store will be your destination for that perfect holiday gift.

In addition, fans can also inquire about season tickets, mini plans and flex books for the upcoming 2012 season of Curve Baseball.  2012 Curve Flex Books presented by McDonald's will also go on sale beginning Friday to coincide with the opening of the Holiday Store.

The Curve Holiday Store will also play host to three different events during the holiday season with the first one being the Kids' Club Kickoff Event on Monday, November 28th.  The Galliker's Curve Kids' Club will once again be free for 2012 and Monday the 28th will be the first major opportunity for the area youth to sign up to claim their stake to eight free Curve games in 2012.

Fans can stop by anytime to register their children (12 & under) for the Galliker's Kids' Club but the Kickoff Event on the 28th will feature activities for children plus appearances by Steamer, Tenacious, Diesel Dawg and rally-mascot Al Tuna.  The festivities will run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The next event at the Curve Holiday Store takes place on December 7th when season ticket holders will have their first opportunity to pick up their holiday gift.  Season ticket holder gifts will only be available at the Curve Holiday Store and can be picked up starting December 7th but must be picked up by December 27th (last day Curve Holiday Store will be open).

Last, but certainly not least, will be the Pirate Caravan, which stops in on Thursday, December 15th.  This year's Pirate Caravan will feature former Curve outfielder and 2011 National League All-Star Andrew McCutchen, former Curve pitching standout Brad Lincoln, broadcaster and 1971 World Series hero Steve Blass and third-base coach Nick Leyva.  All will be available for autographs from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
