National Anthem Auditions - Saturday, 2/4

DUNEDIN, FL - The Blue Jays will be holding auditions for the right to sing the American and Canadian National Anthems before 2012 Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training games, and Dunedin Blue Jays Florida State League games.

Auditions will take place at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin on Saturday, February 4 from 11am to 1pm.

In order to audition you MUST schedule an appointment ahead of time by calling Vince Caffiero at 727-738-7067. Space is limited to the first 20 applicants, and you will not be allowed to audition without a scheduled appointment.

All applicants must be able to sing both "O Canada", and "The Star Spangled Banner" to be considered for Spring Training slots. The Blue Jays play 17 Spring Training home games between March 3, and April 3.

The Florida State League season begins April 5, and runs through September 2. The Dunedin blue Jays are scheduled to play 70 home games in that span, and those interested in singing for those contests will only need to know "The Star Spangled Banner".

When scheduling your appointment, please indicate whether you are interested in singing during Spring Training, the Florida State League season, or both.
