Omaha World-Herald Fireworks Caps Homestand

OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium Wednesday night, opening a seven-game homestand that will wrap up with the annual Omaha World-Herald Independence Day Fireworks! The Royals will host the New Orleans Zephyrs in a three-game series, followed by a four-game set vs. the Oklahoma RedHawks. These exciting promotions are on tap:

Wednesday, June 27, 7:05 p.m.: The 1st 100 kids eat FREE, with a pizza courtesy of SUBWAY and ValPak!

Thursday, June 28, 12:05 p.m.: Enjoy 1/2 -price burgers, courtesy of Omaha Steaks! Rally also performs for the final time this season, presented by 96.1 The Brew and the City Weekly!

Friday, June 29, 7:05 p.m.: The series finale vs. New Orleans is a Werner Enterprises Fireworks Friday, also presented by KETV-Channel 7 and 99.9 KGOR!

Saturday, June 30, 6:05 p.m.: It's the series opener vs. Oklahoma and fans will be treated to the Bucket Boys first-ever performance at Rosenblatt Stadium, presented by Thrivent Financial, WOWT-Channel 6 and 1620 The Zone!

Sunday, July 1, 1:35 p.m.: Enjoy the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest before the game! It opens at 10:35 a.m. and features batting and pitching cages, a bungee run, a super slide, the X-Box 360 video game trailer and more! It's also Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting, balloon art and kids invited to run the bases after the game, presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, KPTM-Fox 42 and Just for Kids & Families! Plus, all Royals Kids Club members receive a free ticket to the game, courtesy of SUBWAY!

Monday, July 2, 7:05 p.m.: It's Free Money Monday! The 1st 500 fans will receive an envelope containing either cash or prizes, brought to you by Country 97.3 KBLR!

Tuesday, July 3, 6:05 p.m.: The annual Omaha World-Herald Independence Day Fireworks is presented by the Omaha World-Herald, the City of Omaha and the Omaha Royals! During the game enjoy the world famous ZOOperstars, featuring Harry Canary, Nolan Ryno and other characters! Following the game, national recording group "Mulberry Lane" of Omaha performs in concert in the outfield. Then, it's the biggest Independence Day fireworks show west of the Mississippi, by world-renowned Fireworks by Grucci, which will be simulcast on Star 104.5!
