Frederick Keys renew radio pact
"We can't wait to bring another season of Keys baseball over the airwaves to our fans on 1450-AM The Source," Keys Director of Marketing Adam Pohl said.
In addition to all Keys games being broadcasted on 1450-AM, they will also be streamed on the internet via thesourceradionetwork.com and frederickkeys.com. All airtimes will begin 20 minutes prior to first pitch with the Keys On Deck Show.
"We were honored when the Frederick Keys asked us to be their flagship radio station, but we never dreamed we would begin our first year with the Keys on a journey to the Mills Cup Championship," 1450-AM The Source General Manager Michael Betteridge said. "The Frederick Keys are a first-class organization and we are proud to bring our Keys listening family an even better gameday experience this year."
1450-AM The Source broadcasts a weekly lineup that includes Bill Bennett's Morning in America and the Dave Ramsey Show hosted by the award winning author of "Total Money Makeover," two of the top talk shows in America.
Along with airing the Keys, 1450-AM broadcasts all Baltimore Ravens games, Frederick County High School sports, Washington Capitals and Wizards and select Baltimore Orioles games. 1450-AM The Source can be heard from Gettysburg to Brunswick and Hagerstown to Westminster as well as online at thesourceradionetwork.org.
The 2012 Keys season will get underway on Friday, April 6th when the Keys celebrate their 2011 championship taking on the Salem Red Sox.
Adam Pohl and Derek LeComte will call all the action. Pohl is in his sixth season as lead broadcaster for the Keys. LeComte, an Arlington, Va. native, joins the organization after spending 2011 at the mic with the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings of the North American League.
