51s Present Two Holiday Fireworks Shows - June 30 & July 3

June 29, 2007
LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas 51s professional baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will open a four-game series beginning tomorrow night (Saturday, June 30) against the Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, at 7:11 p.m. at Cashman Field.

The game will feature the first of two "Holiday Fireworks Shows" to help celebrate the 4th of July! The Las Vegas Review-Journal will present tomorrow night's post game fireworks show. The "RJ" will also sponsor United Way Night. The United Way of Southern Nevada is celebrating 50 years (1957-2007) and the Review-Journal will donate $1.00 to the United Way for every fan in attendance ($10,000 maximum).

The United Way will also be hosting a "tennis ball" toss onto the playing field after the game and before the fireworks show. Fans can purchase a tennis ball for $1.00 and will have a chance to win an autographed 51s team jersey. All proceeds of the "tennis ball" toss will be donated to The United Way's "Kids & Cops Program."

The 51s will also present the traditional "Fireworks Extravaganza" in the finale of the seven-game home stand on Tuesday, July 3 at 7:11 p.m. The post game fireworks show will be presented by Anderson Dairy, celebrating 100 years (1907-2007) in Southern Nevada.

All Tickets for the two "Holiday Fireworks Shows" are $13.00.
