Fireworks Friday and Scout Night. Every Friday is Fireworks Night at Volcanoes Stadium with a post-game fireworks show. Scout groups and their leaders can spend the night on the field and watch a post-game movie, for more information, please call 503-390-2225. It's also Mel Counts Night. Meet former NBA Legend Mel Counts, member of the 1964 Olympic Gold Medal Team and 1964 No. 1 draft pick of the Boston Celtics. Counts played in a total of five NBA Championships with Celtics and Lakers.
