After several days of workouts and intrasquad games, the exhibition season is scheduled to get underway on Thursday, March 15. The minor leaguers in camp are separated into four different teams: AAA, AA, High A, and Low A. The rosters are fluid during the exhibition season with several players expected to switch teams over the 2 1/2-week period of games. This prevents an official announcement of the San Jose Giants roster until after the exhibition games conclude on March 30.
Below is a schedule of the "High A" team - or the players most likely to open the season with the San Jose Giants.

All games begin at 1:00 PM. Giants home games are played at the Giants Baseball Complex in Scottsdale (8045 E. Camelback Road). Diamondbacks and Rockies home games are in Scottsdale, A's home games are in Phoenix, Angels home games are in Tempe and Cubs home games are played in Mesa.
Nine of San Jose's 14 spring training games are against teams from the California League with three contests against Stockton (A's), three games against Visalia (Diamondbacks), two games versus Inland Empire (Angels) and one game against Modesto (Rockies). Of the remaining five games, four are against the Daytona Cubs and one is versus the Brevard County Manatees (Brewers) - both of the Florida State League.
