Coleman Strikes Out 11 in Win
The Ogden Raptors evened up a series against the Casper Rockies with a 9-3 win, behind an 11 strikeout performance by Paul Coleman. It was the second consecutive game that Coleman has struck out double-digit batters.
Trailing 1-0 heading into the 4th inning, the Raptors offense exploded for five runs off Casper starter Jhoulys Chacin. The offensive fireworks continued in the 8th inning where the Raptors scored another four runs.
Coleman leads the league with 25 punchouts. He is the only pitcher to record at least ten strikeouts in a game.
Jaime Pedroza went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Kenley Jansen and Jaime Ortiz also scored two runs each in the win.

The Raptors return home for a three game series beginning Sunday night versus the Idaho Falls Chuckars. Sunday's game time has been changed to 7 pm. Free general admission tickets are available at the Layton Hills Mall.
