Charity Auction for USC-Clemson Game First Pitch

Proceeds to Benefit MUSC Children's Hospital Fund
February 27, 2012
CHARLESTON, SC - Have you ever dreamed about standing on the Riley Park pitcher's mound and have more than 6,000 people -- including Clemson coach Jack Leggett and South Carolina coach Ray Tanner -- see you throw?

Forget the dream: You can have that opportunity as the chance is now up for bid to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Clemson-South Carolina baseball game on March 2 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Your first pitch will commence at 6 pm.

While all that sounds dream-worthy, the biggest benefit is that the proceeds from this unique opportunity will go toward the Medical University of South Carolina's Children's Hospital Fund, the preferred charity of the game's sponsor, Mike Bennett and Bennett Hospitality.

Who knows? Maybe Coach Leggett and Coach Tanner will shake your hand and congratulate you on firing that strike.
