Kids Eat Free Sundays At Victory Field

Souvenir Sundays Also Return With A Bobblehead Bonanza
February 28, 2012
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians have announced that all children 14 and under will be able to eat for free at Sunday home games at Victory Field during the 2012 season, courtesy of Pepsi, Eisenberg, Snyder's-Lance and the Klosterman Baking Company.

Each child 14 and under that attends an Indians Sunday home contest during the 2012 season will receive a voucher good for one hot dog, one bottle of water and one bag of chips. In addition to eating free, kids who are members of the Indians Knot Hole Kids Club, will also be invited to run the bases following the contest.

Sundays will also continue to be the time for fans to take home a piece of the Indians with the return of Souvenir Sundays, where the first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive a special Indians' souvenir item. Along with the annual giveaways of the Indians Wall Calendar (April 15), Indians T-shirt (May 6), Indians Card Set (June 24) and Indians Cap (July 29), the 2012 souvenir season will also feature five special Bobblehead giveaways.

The Bobblehead bonanza begins with the Bobblehead likeness of three current Pittsburgh Pirates and former Indianapolis Indians stars Neil Walker (May 13), Andrew McCutchen (June 3) and Jose Tabata (June 10), before featuring a special vintage Bobblehead on July 15 and everyone's favorite mascot, Rowdie, on August 26.
