Vanderbilt and Belmont Game Postponed

Two Teams to Play Wednesday at First Tennessee Park

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tonight's NCAA game between the Vanderbilt Commodores and Belmont Bruins at First Tennessee Park has been postponed due to inclement weather and cold temperatures in the forecast.

The game will be made up on Wednesday, March 21 at First Tennessee Park with first pitch slated for 6:30 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Fans that have already purchased tickets for Tuesday's game may use the same tickets for the rescheduled game on Wednesday.

This is the third meeting at First Tennessee Park between the two non-conference opponents. Vanderbilt has topped Belmont in both previous meetings.

The 2018 season will be the Sounds' 41st in franchise history and fourth as the Oakland Athletics' top affiliate. Opening Day is set for Thursday, April 5 when the Sounds begin the season in New Orleans. Opening Night at First Tennessee Park is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 when the Sounds host the Iowa Cubs at 6:35 p.m. Season ticket memberships are available now by calling (615) 690-4487 or by visiting www.nashvillesounds.com.
