Rockies Break Lansing Field Attendance Record

Casper, WY - A raucous 3rd of July crowd helped the Casper Rockies break the single game attendance record again Tuesday night at Mike Lansing field.

3,342 fans filled Mike Lansing field on the 3rd of July to enjoy the great ballpark atmosphere and to watch the Rockies firework extravaganza. The previous attendance record of 3,141 was set last season on the 4th of July.

"Once again the Casper community has shown tremendous support of professional baseball," said Director of Fun Matt Warneke.

The Rockies will return home next Wednesday July 11th where they will start a seven game home stand taking on the defending Pioneer League Champion Missoula Osprey on Guaranteed Win Wednesday.

The spectacular fireworks return on Friday July 13th, so get your tickets quickly for all of the festivities that will take place during this seven game home stand.
