Inland Idol Coming To A Mall Near You
San Bernardino, CA- Think you have what it takes to be the next Inland Idol? The Inland Empire 66ers are looking for the most talented singers and musicians in the Inland Empire to help the 66ers, Class 'A' Partner of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, salute the "Stars and Stripes" by singing the National Anthem at home games this year. Come showcase your talents and try to sing your way into the ballpark at one of three tryouts this month.
On Saturday, March 10th, our judges will be at the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino. Registration begins at 10 AM, and auditions will go from 11 AM to 2 PM in Center Court.
Stop two on the Inland Idol tour will take place at the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside Saturday, March 24th. Registration will begin at 9:30AM and performances will go from 10AM to 1PM.
The final stop will take place Thursday, March 29th, at the Moreno Valley Mall from 6PM to 9PM.
Participants can either sing or play the National Anthem at the tryouts but must do so without any sheet music, lyric pages, or pre-recorded background music. Any individual or group playing the national anthem must be able to transport their instruments by hand. Performances must be limited to 90 seconds or less.
Potential participants are invited to pre-register by calling Kelci Harris at (909)495-7630 or E-mail at [email protected]. Once Bernie and our band of judges have made their decisions, Inland Empire's best performers will be selected to "Advance to the Show" and perform in front of a packed house at Arrowhead Credit Union Park just moments before the first pitch of an exciting Inland Empire 66ers game.
