Captains to Have Tenth Anniversary HD TV Giveaway
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, in partnership with B&B Appliance and SportsTime Ohio will present a HD TV Giveaway Extravaganza throughout the 2012 season, as part of the club's tenth anniversary year-long celebration.
All fans who sign up to receive the Captains e-newsletter on-line at Captainsbaseball.com, in person at Classic Park or at B&B appliance locations will be eligible to win a 32-inch HD TV. The promotion will kick-off on Opening Night, April 12, and then continue on June 1 through the end of the season. During Captains home games at Classic Park on Opening Night and in June, July and August, anytime a Captains player hits a home run, a name will be randomly selected from the list of e-newsletter subscribers and the individual will win a HD TV.
"We have been seeking a unique and exciting way to celebrate our Tenth Anniversary Season and we feel that this promotion will do just that", said Captains VP & General Manager Brad Seymour. "We are thrilled to have B&B Appliance and SportsTime Ohio on board with us as a partner in this exciting season-long promotion."
The Captains anticipate awarding at least 40 HD TV's, based on the amount of home runs hit at Classic Park during the same time frame over the last few seasons. In one home game last year, the Captains slugged seven round-trippers, so there is a strong chance that multiple TV's will be awarded on any given date. Fans do not need to be present to win a TV, only be an active subscriber to the Captains weekly e-newsletter.
The locally-owned-and-operated B&B Appliance has two locations in Euclid and Middleburg Heights and has been in business since 1924. B&B Appliance has been a long time partner of Captains baseball with the popular post-game Launch-a-Ball promotion. B&B's focus is on providing the best combination of price, selection, and service. SportsTime Ohio (STO) is a regional sports network and the television home of the Cleveland Indians. Since it's inception in 2006, STO has expanded its coverage to become the cable television home of the Cleveland Browns. It is also the home for the Mid-American Conference and the OHSAA Championship Events as well as providing many local sports programs.
