Single-Game Tickets On Sale Today

Tickets available online and over the phone before the box office opens on March 17

The Tacoma Rainiers today announced that single-game tickets for club's 2012 campaign are available now, offering fans an early opportunity to purchase seats before the Cheney Stadium Box Office officially opens for business.

Fans can get a head start on their season preparations and purchase tickets to any 2012 Rainiers game by visiting the team's website at www.tacomarainiers.com, calling 1-800-745-3000 or stopping by area Ticketmaster outlets.

Single-game tickets are now offered alongside a variety of premium season-ticket options also still available, including the Rainiers 18-Game Plan that features seats to Opening Day, the team's annual game on July 3rd and tickets to a Mariners game.

All single-game tickets may be purchased in person once the box office makes its 2012 debut during the club's annual Preseason Party, held on Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Cheney Stadium. The free event is open to the public and offers fans a preview of the fun and excitement offered at Cheney Stadium this season.

Complimentary soda and hot dogs will be available for all those in attendance, and fans are encouraged to go on guided ballpark tours and grab the latest Rainiers gear at the team store. Kids can mingle with Rhubarb the Reindeer, get their faces painted, bounce in the bounce house or have their favorite animal crafted by one of the on-site balloon artists

Representatives will be on hand to help all prospective season ticket holders test drive preferred seats and tag them if they wish to purchase. All current season ticket holders may pick up their season ticket packages on site.

Those planning to attend the Preseason Party are asked to please enter Cheney Stadium through the ballpark's Tyler Street entrance. The Cheyenne Street entrance will be closed throughout the event.

The Rainiers open the 2012 season at home on Thursday, April 5.
