Be a baseball video intern for the Angels!

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are looking to hire a baseball video intern for the 2012 Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball season. The internship is open to currently enrolled college students with Sports Management or Business majors preferred.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Record video of Angels players during games, BP, bullpens, and any other time determined necessary by the coaching staff
• Develop video library and sort video into player folders for easy access, immediately following the day's game
• By working with video programs (DartFish, AVS Video Editors/Converters), all video should be edited and joined in a professional manner
• On a daily basis, final-edit video will need to be transferred to staff computers, and occasionally to players' personal computers (upon staff approval)
• Upload game files and highlights to Angels team website on a bi-weekly basis (every other week)
• Maintenance of video library and equipment
• Production of highlight DVDs
• Perform other related duties as instructed by coaching staff

Qualified persons should:

• Be a self-starter with excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a knowledge of baseball with HS or college playing experience preferred
• Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new software
• Must be able to work all 70 home games during the season, including nights, weekends and holidays. No travel is required.
