Bees IF Wood promoted

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the team has recalled infielder Brandon Wood from the Salt Lake Bees.

The Bees also activated outfielder Curtis Pride from the disabled list.

In 80 games with the Bees this season, Wood is hitting .262 with 18 doubles, 16 home runs and 55 RBI. Wood has appeared in three games with the Angels registering one hit. In 14 games with Salt Lake, Pride is hitting .208 with six doubles and two RBI.
