Carnival To Arrive At Chukchansi Park
"The Fresno Grizzlies have guaranteed fun for the last few years, and the new partnership with Wold Amusements will only enhance our promise to families that a night at the ballpark brings all the fun and excitement at the best value," said Grizzlies President Chris Cummings.
"We are a local company that wants to provide fun for the community. What better place to deliver entertainment for the entire family than a baseball game, and Chukchansi Park is the right venue for our carnival," said Jason Wold, CEO of Wold Amusements.
In addition to the existing children's Fun Zone, the carnival will feature several rides available for fans to enjoy once they enter Chukchansi Park for Grizzlies and Fuego games. Rides include an 80-foot tall ferris wheel, a roller coaster, a funhouse, a chair swing ride, a race car carousel and bumper cars. The carnival is available for all ages, but some rides do have height requirements for ridership. Admission for the rides is separate from purchased tickets to games and other events at Chukchansi Park.
Wold Amusements is a traveling carnival contractor that stages shows across all of California. Based in Hanford, Wold Amusements has offered a clean, safe, family experience for over 15 years.
Fans will get their first look at the Chukchansi Park Carnival when the Grizzlies kick off their 15th-annivesary season on Friday, April 13th against the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Tickets are available for the 2012 season by visiting the Chukchansi Park Box Office, calling 559.320.TIXS or visiting www.FresnoGrizzlies.com.
