The smell of hot dogs, freshly mowed grass, and the "Boys of Summer" grazing the playing surface at Fluor Field! Baseball is right around the corner. Opening Week, presented by TD Bank, begins Thursday April 5th and lasts seven exciting days in Downtown Greenville as the Drive begin the 2012 season!

The always popular "Dollar Drink Night" kicks off the season with drink specials at each concession stand, and in The 500 Club. The following night fans will experience the first Friday Night Fireworks of the season, and then an appearance by Reggy "The Purple Party Dude" on Saturday, April 7th.

The revamped BI-LO Kids Eat Free will now be every Sunday throughout the season, giving kids a healthier option with the choice of a hot dog and apple slices or a 4-inch Subway sandwich and bag of chips, plus a 12-ounce Pepsi product.

On Monday, April 9th, the Drive and USO will partner for the first of three games during the 2012 season that recognizes our active military members and veterans. A commemorative "Stars & Stripes" baseball will be unveiled and sold at the Drive Team Store throughout the season, with proceeds benefitting the USO.

A unique Drive/collegiate doubleheader will headline Tuesday, April 10th as the Drive host the Hickory Crawdads at 4 PM, followed by Clemson vs. Furman. One ticket will give fans access to both games!

The first home stand of the season comes to an end on Wednesday, April 11th with the first Drive Reading All-Stars, presented by Michelin, celebrating Greenville County middle school and Spartanburg County participants!
