Promotions Director Noel Blaha Moves to Advisory Board
March 28, 2012
CHARLESTON, SC -- Jake Terrell, a veteran sales manager with the Charleston RiverDogs, will represent the club and will serve as an Honorary Commander on Joint Base Charleston for a two-year term.

Terrell replaces Noel Blaha, the RiverDogs' director of promotions, who now moves to the advisory board following his two-year term as an Honorary Commander.

The 315th Airlift Wing leadership recently kicked off the wing's annual Honorary Commanders program with a luncheon for local community business leaders at the base dining facility.

The purpose of the Joint Base Charleston's community relations program is to take leaders in the business community and incorporate them into the wing and to build lasting relationships. Throughout the year, the honorary commanders will be invited to events, including: C-17 flights, simulator rides, tours, dinners, observation of military exercises, events during reserve training assembly weekends and more.

Terrell, a native of Asheville, NC, has been with the RiverDogs since February 2004. In his eight years with the club, Terrell has served as food & beverage manager, box office manager, and is amidst his sixth season as a ticket sales manager.

"The Charleston RiverDogs continue to support unconditionally our military and its vital endeavors and objectives, both locally and around the world," said club General Manager Dave Echols. "Our staff is committed to helping our military, and Jake is sure to be a valued member of Joint Base Charleston."
