Meet Sonics Great Gary Payton July 26

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett AquaSox and Principal Financial Group are proud to announce that Seattle SuperSonics legend Gary Payton will make a special appearance at the ballpark on Thursday, July 26th. Payton will be signing autographs for fans for 90 minutes during the game, and will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch.

Fans must hold a ticket to the July 26th AquaSox vs. Salem-Keizer game in order to enter the ballpark for autographs. Single game tickets go on sale online on May 16th at 9:00am, but to be guaranteed a seat at the game fans are encouraged to purchase group tickets (groups of 20 or more) or 12-game min-plans. During his time at Oregon State, Payton was a three-time All-Pac-10 selection and was a consensus All-American in 1990. Drafted by the Sonics as the 2nd overall pick in the 1990 NBA draft, Payton played for the Seattle SuperSonics for 13 years, and holds Seattle's franchise records for points, assists and steals. He was selected to the NBA All-Star team nine times during his career, and also earned two Olympic gold medals with the U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball Teams.
