Kernels will be on KCRG 9.2 and MC22

The two stations will televise a combined 10 games in 2012

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Kernels bring the Party at the Park into fans' homes in 2012 as KCRG 9.2 and Mediacom Connections channel 22 are scheduled to televise 10 Kernels home games.

KCRG 9.2 will televise six home games live on April 14, May 19, June 23, July 21, Aug. 17 and Sept. 1. Kernels play-by-play broadcaster Morgan Hawk brings you all the exciting MWL action on both KCRG 9.2 and the Kernels flagship radio stations, 1450 KMRY AM and 93.1 KMRY FM.

Mediacom will broadcast four games starting on May 29, followed by games on June 14, Aug. 2 and Aug. 16.

KCRG 9.2 is available on Mediacom and ImOn Communications cable systems and free over the air to homes with a HDTV antenna.

Tickets to all 70 Kernel home games, season ticket packages and 10-game Anytime Coupon Books are available through the Kernels Ticket Office, the Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop and on-line at www.kernels.com. Ticket Office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels open the 2012 Midwestern League season on the road at Wisconsin on Thursday, April 5th. The 2012 home opener is Monday, April 9 against the Clinton LumberKings starting at 6:35 p.m. The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a free Mike Trout bobblehead, courtesy Great Clips. 2012 magnet schedules, courtesy of Mercy Care Community Physicians, will also be passed out through the entire opening home stand (April 9-15).
