It will feature many new options such as fresh angus beef burgers, Italian sausages, bratwurst, and a premium rib eye steak sandwich.

The new good eats spread throughout in the stadium. There are the Grille Stands down the first and third base lines, the Pepsi Grille on the first base side, and the Bullpen Grille down the third base side. The grille stands will now have a little taste of the south, offering fried bologna sandwiches and fried pickles to satisfy your appetite.

Fans can always get food and drinks at the main concession stands, where you can now try to survive your own Man v. Food conquest with two new options, giant turkey legs and a savory Boar's Head brisket sandwich. You will surely get a sugar rush with the new funnel cakes in the Bullpen Grille and hand-made waffle cones available at the Scoop Shoppe.

At Pelicans Fan Fest on Wednesday, local chefs were given the opportunity to show off their talent in the second annual 'Homerun Recipe Contest.' The winner earned the right to have their food showcased at the park all summer.

Bog Balls from the Socastee Station restaurant were named the winner, beating out three other local finalists. The Bog Balls will now be available at the ballpark for the entire 2012 season.

"The contest was designed to give local chefs a chance to display creative food savvy," Leininger said. "Our group of finalists this year put forth some outstanding entries and we think Pelicans fans will really enjoy a new twist on chicken bog that we'll have at the park this summer."
